Project Coordinator/Scrum Master

The Production team at StoryToys is pivotal in the production of our suite of apps. As a Project Coordinator/Scrum Master, your role is to support the creative and technical production by organizing and coordinating the day-to-day work of one, or multiple teams. You will work closely with Associate and Lead Producers on the day-to-day running of the production pipeline. You will be part of the end to end production cycle. You will identify team obstacles and facilitate a clear agile management process. You will work closely with technical and creative teams to see the smooth product development, release and updates. You will be a squad facilitator: Enabling smooth game development and production. You will enable open and direct communication, feedback and collaboration between multidisciplinary teams.

StoryToys is a Top-Ten children’s app creator, delivering a suite of apps for children between the ages of  2 and 8. We work with the world’s biggest entertainment IP, translating their loved characters to a digital world. We publish worldwide, in 26 languages with monthly active users  in the millions. We are based in Dublin, Ireland but work with a large global team.

What will you be doing? 

You will work closely with the production team to realise production goals and champion the view and needs of the team to the wider company. You are a bridge between the various production disciplines. 

  • Facilitate meetings, stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews etc.
  • Manage agile processes, backlogs, agile planning and estimation, with Product Owners.
  • Monitor and track deadlines, tasks and risks with Producers across levels.
  • Help create an efficient and effective culture.
  • Help shape team deliverables.
  • Document and maintaining project information.
  • Assess and communicate on difficult team situations and support solutions.


What you’ll bring

  • Proven professional experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager or Production Coordinator within software development, game development or another creative industry.
  • Experience in tangential disciplines such as QA and release management, Art, Design, Engineering or other.
  • A willingness to learn and modify processes to support the team and production.
  • Experience working with Agile methodology to bring a product to release.
  • Flexibility to bring knowledge and learning to different processes and protocols.


We have a beautiful office space in the heart of Dublin city, however remote working can be facilitated where appropriate.
